Sounds like you obtained a pretty conclusive answer to the quantity versus quality question. It might be interesting to see how the Roman's would fair if they were to maybe drop the Legionaries from Elite to Seasoned and then use the 144 points on some more Archers and Light Cohorts. Pre-order placed. Might we soon see some Gripping Beast miniatures that will match up with these Army Lists? (i.e. Republican Romans, Carthaginians, Celts, Numidians........)
