Both variants have the same shooting power, but option 1 is more flexible, so I would try that first.

I haven't been in the workshop since Wednesday, but unless there was a late surge in ticket sales, I expect we will be announcing that the event is to be classical when I get back on Tuesday.

All the chariot attacks are delivered with the names combat weapon, the halberd (just as all the shooting attacks are delivered by the bow)

As far as we are concerned, artillery doesn't feature in the rules and therefore the answer to most of these questions is "whatever you think is appropriate to your scenario". In armies like the Romans, artillery would be manned by legionaries and so would have the same cohesion as them. In other ci...
