Late Saxon Ealdormen Points

At A +1 and C +2 shouldn't these chaps be:

A) 15 points rather than 20 points?

or

B) should they be A+2?

or

C) No that is what I always intended and there is absolutely no reason why they can't have a different profile for the same points cost!

I would like the answer to be B

It will be based around a plot to take over the British Isles by combined Viking, Norman(French), and Celtic types whilst Sa...

Re: Cavalry - Underpointed?

If you really want to get your friend going with the numbers, try to get him to model the benefits of drilled at 3pts a base, stubborn at 2pts a base and trained phalanx at 2 pts a base...

Re: Cavalry - Underpointed?

If you are just doing a simple analysis on combat performance then your friend is correct. However, when you take into account that cavalry have many other attributes not shared by close order infantry I am not sure you can claim that they are underpointed. 1 They are not march blocked by nearby ene...

Re: Warfare 2019

Having just got back from Southern Italy (the efforts I go to research things!) I will be taking an army based on the Greek city port of Pompei before it became a Roman colony and whilst it was in the process of being de-greeked by the Osci speaking peoples....

Or something like that!
