That is what happened in my game with Dennis, the ellie hit the flank of a revealed unit. The unit took only one test, but it was because it was both an ellie and a flank, either would have caused the test.

If they were being charged by an elephant, I believe they would have to, (least that is what Martin said yesterday) so using the same logic yes.

So the Pyrrhic army, how well does it perform? Leading into the tournament it had face and conquered EIR, Pontic and Later Hoplite (Spartan) armies, so I knew it had the tools to do the job. The list was: Pyrrhus 5 Commanders Two Phalangite units (D5, Pike one leadership 6 and one 7, trained phalanx...

Thanks to Martin and Andy from GB for organising and Andy C for helping with the venue.

It was good to see some new faces and to play some of them. Not good that I was not feeling quite as good as I might!

Hi Andy, personally I think that bow armed troops are too cheap at the moment. You won't be surprised to find out that I have modeled the outcome of an equal number of points of bow armed unit and a spear and shield armed unit. I think in your Welsh list bowmen are cheaper than the spear armed chapp...
