I'm looking at the final paragraph in 4.flee on page 30. What constitutes completely blocked? Does there have to be a frontage wide gap, a base frontage gap, or another way of judging this? How do you play it?
Bob, it happened last night. The cavalry just got stuck within a hedged field, just about to be shot again by the skirmishers. We played the hedge as difficult going, not strictly as described in the rules. How do you folks play hedges?
A knight fight results in a unit fleeing whilst the winners reform after avoiding pursuit
The question for the reforming fleers is whether they can change face whilst reforming, or reform with enemy knights to their rear.... and get charged.
My skirmish infantry defend a hedged field but are pushed back by cavalry. Next turn they pass cohesion and disengage to defend the rear hedge. What do the cavalry do. They cannot charge since this opportunity passed. Do they just watch the skirmishers take up a new position?
