Re: Mid Roman Auxiliar infantry ( Classical Page 49)

It reads as though auxiliary infantry can only be close order, not open order. If there is an open order option and what would the points be?

thanks

Mid Roman Auxiliar infantry ( Classical Page 49)

I was reading this section and see that the close combat auxiliaries can only be taken as close order. Was there an omission in the Open order / javelin ( or dart) type. New points may be needed for this and the clubmen categories

Since the supports...

Re: Burgundian Ordnance questions

I saw that mounted retainers are D3. I assume this is a typo and should be D4?

Re: Parthian Shot with Javelin

That's what I assumed although it's not explicit in the rules. I envisioned some numidians at 15 inches from cavalry claiming parthian shot and being able to shoot javelins without ever being in 6 inch range.

Parthian Shot with Javelin

Hello,

Javelins have a range of 6 inches. Do light cavalry with javelins have to be within 6" of potential enemy chargers at the start of the move to use parthian shot before evading?
