Re: Stakes in Medieval rules

Hi Martin,

What did you write I couldn't read it, LOL. Thanks, and have a good Xmas, and look forward to more games in 2018, starting with Swindon.

Re: Stakes in Medieval rules

Andy, I fell for the same joke - the rule to deal with a push back was never there. Martin is it in the FAQ, as I looked last week and could not see it, but then the wife says I need glasses?

Re: Stakes in Medieval rules

Hi Martin, thank you. I assume you meant page 29 of the main rule book as my Medieval book only goes up to page 47. Or maybe I am missing those all important rules 😁

Stakes in Medieval rules

<t>Last night we played a game using the stakes in the Medieval rules and had the situation where the defenders won the round of combat, resulting in the attacking unit falling back 4".<br/> In the rules, stakes are removed when the defenders move, but also stakes are obstacles and the defender does...

Re: Swindon 2018

Hi Martin,

Thanks, that means I can add a few models to another Dark Age army I have, and try that out against the Dave's at club. A choice of 3 armies for Swindon, loads of time to get some practice games in, before submitting the list.

Re: Swindon 2018

Can any one confirm that if you are using an army from the Dark Age book, which is based on 1,000 pts in this event, do we increase the army size up to 1,250 pts which is the Medieval pts limit? I know the increase in the Medieval book was to take account of the higher base points, but this reflects...

Re: Warfare 2017

Martin & Gripping Beast team, I am always happy to receive any prize, and I thank you for even putting up a prize at any Tournament.

It is greatly appreciated and to get the Lord S to donate to such prizes must take a lot of persuasion.

Thank you. Mike

Re: Warfare 2017

Warfare was great, spent loads of money at the lunch breaks, but it is Xmas. It was good to meet some new players, hopefully we can keep adding to the number of players. Thank you to all those I played against, and now I need to practice with the Medieval armies ready for Swindon in February. I have...

Re: Swindon Event February 2018

I agree with Dave P, it must be 1250 pts as per the army book.

Re: About face and manoeuvres

Hi Bob, I know we have all been playing the way you note in your examples, but I raised a similar point a few weeks ago with Dave P & Dave J who also discussed with a few people at the Derby event. They all agree with what you have stated. However, a few weeks ago when I was reading over the rules a...
