Can any one confirm that if you are using an army from the Dark Age book, which is based on 1,000 pts in this event, do we increase the army size up to 1,250 pts which is the Medieval pts limit? I know the increase in the Medieval book was to take account of the higher base points, but this reflects the improved armour etc. So I am assuming to make it balanced the Dark Age armies that can be used are allowed to be increased to 1,250 pts. Thanks Mike.

Yes Mike, as it says in the event detail on the GB site it is 1250 points. It also tells you which Dark Age book armies you can enter with.

Hi Martin,

Thanks, that means I can add a few models to another Dark Age army I have, and try that out against the Dave's at club. A choice of 3 armies for Swindon, loads of time to get some practice games in, before submitting the list.

Sadly my WOtR will have to give Swindon a miss this year. I been notified that I will be having another procedure a couple of weeks before and I don't think the drive etc would be wise. Damn erratic heart keeps getting in the way of games.

My thoughts will be with you though, good luck to all. Simon.
