All of my peasants are packed-up ready. See you in the Cold Harbour for a beer or two tomorrow night.
Curry Saturday night?
Bring Pillage money. You know you want to.

Should be there about 20:00. Got to have my new bionic eye checked at 15:00 and hopefully get booked in for the other.
As every one else knows the rules do I have to actually read them?

Martin, are you going to put the first round up for tomorrow? I really hope so, as I was hoping to spend the day thinking about tactics instead of boring finance stuff. The planning will not help, but it gets me through a day at work. lol

Just back from the event. Many thanks to Andy C for organising and GB for running/sponsoring - it is appreciated.

Five good/tough games against cracking opponents. Some lovely armies on display. Very pleased and surprised with how the Japanese held up out of period.

Well done to the winners.

Cheers W.

Many thanks to Wayne, Bob L, Steve, Andy K and Ed for suffering my style of play. But my thanks go to Ed, who moved his unformed bases a half an inch so I was able to charge it and destroy my first unit of the weekend. It is just a shame that the 8 bases 0f elite troops plus a couple of skimishers lost against two bases of Cavelry. But as my wife says Hay ho.

Big thank you to Andy C, Martin and Lord S for organising the event and the prizes. Thank you to those I played against, they were all great games. Looking forward to Cold/Hot Steel in July and don't forget Pompey Pillage in August. Mike.
