In your first example it is one per unit - so 3 if A, B and C chagrge and 4 if 1,2,3, and 4 charge. Although in this case only the max 3 could be used in thr combat and one would have to be retained for later use.

You gain one for causing the enemey to take a break test, and not three! It is an extra three if they fail the break test.

how many momentum do you have in a global combat ?

- momentum for each unit result ? (situation A)
- momentum for the worst result ? (situation C)
- mommentum for each result of each of your unit (situation B) ?

All combats are treated the same whether they have single or multiple units involved.
You earn the momentum associated with each applicable cause once not multiple times.
