Elephants

Postby Bitesyurr » Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:51 pm

Hi All,

A couple of Elephant related questions.

First, do all troops need to make a cohesion test when charged and/or charging Elephants, including foot troops.

Second, are Elephants always deemed to be unformed? The rule book says that ELephants are more vulnerable to skirimshers in combat (page 39), but skirishers must always evade formed troops, and cannot charge them.

Always ready to roll a 12 for Cohesion!

All troop types need to take cohesion tests if charged by elephants or if they want to charge an elephant.

Elephants are formed, the only time they can stand and fight is if they are in difficult terrain when the ellie charges.

Thanks Bob. Is this test subject to the Army generals re-roll if he is within 12"?

No. The Army general re-roll is for Break tests rather than cohesion tests. Cheers W.

I think the only way they could get a re-roll is if they were veteran, as that allows them to re roll one set of dice during the game, and this can be for cohesion tests.

You just have to try and make sure your general is near by as the elephants approach.....
