To All:
This happened in a recent game. A 6 stand warband is part of a battle line that is facing the romans. This unit is the end of the RH part of that battle line. The warband is attacked by a 5 stand roman infantry unit to the front and is flanked on the RH side of the unit by another roman unit. We have a couple questions. First, the combat is resolved and the warband must fall back the required 4 inches. Does the warband fall back diagonally as per a flee would? Our second question do both roman units follow the fall back, especially the flanking unit? We attempted to find a answer in the book in regards to the fallback specifically but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated,
Respectfully,
Gunny
