Meeting engagement

In this scenario only:-
At what point in the march-order are rockets, guns and wagon tabors deployed?
Are there restrictions on their location on the table?
Given the time required to deploy large guns, can they shoot in the first turn?

At the moment Dave there appears to be no restriction on any of these other than that wagon tabors have to be within 3" of your table edge and they can shoot in the first turn.

This could give the edge to the person placing last, as someone without artillery (at the moment ;-) ) I am willing to accept that is the way it is.

On p5 in the medieval book, artillery then wagons both deploy before all other troops. This could still apply but suggests that these units march at the front of your force rather than under guard in the middle of the army.
Perhaps it would make more sense if they deployed at the same time as the commanders (in the middle of your list) but have to be set-up within the standard deployment-zone - 12" on and 12" in.

The medieval book applies. Remember it was unusual in this period for the army to deploy straight off a column of march, rather they would do so from camp. Deploying the guns and wagons first assumes they need time to prepare, and so can shoot at the beginning of turn 1.
