Turkoman cavalry

I found three entries for skirmishing turkoman cavalry:
page 25 as part of the arab caliphate list:
as skirmishers, superior shooters, nomad cavalry.

page 34 in the seljuk turk list:
as skirmishers, nomad cavalry

page 37 in the turkoman list:
as skirmishers, superior shooters, nomad cavalry (elite - max. two units) and
skirmishers, nomad cavalry


Is there a reason why the majority lost superior shooters when fighting for there own cause?

Perhaps they only let the better ones go off to fight for other people ;_)

More or less right- those engaged in continuous fighting gain extra experience and become better warriors than the majority
