Ostrogoths

Postby kwheatonca » Sat Jan 21, 2017 6:58 pm

In the Ostrogoth list all normal warriors must be armed with bows at cost of 9 (open order).
Does the rule prevent the combined units of infantry? If not, I assume that having bow armed troops behind elite warriors will now cost 20+ points per bow armed base (as per the cost of the elite warriors). Also would the unit now be open or closed? Seems like a better idea to field these units separately (I assume this is the intention).

Yes you are right, Ostrogoth warriors should be formed in separate archer units and their elite infantry do not form combined units.

I had a quick question on Ostrogoth cavalry. The table has Cavalry with a D of 4 (same as the Elite Cavalry). The equipment section has Cavalry equipped with spear and shield, which would give them a D of 5. I'm just checking to see which is correct.

There is a typo in the ordinary cavalry line, they are D5.
