Amemdments to lists

Postby MartinG » Sun Jun 17, 2018 7:31 am

New amendments just added to the errata:
Late Republican and Early Imperial Rome:
Due to their superior training and self-confidence, Drilled legionaries may elect not to close up when within 8" of enemy, and may continue at their full movement rate. If they charge more than 4" into combat, they will not receive a Close Order bonus.
Early Imperial Rome:
No more than half of all Auxiliary bases may be Archers.
Dacia:
There must be 3+ units of Warriors.

EIR: nice rule add on for drilled.
Does that also mean that I can not take a single Auxiliary Bow armed unit in my army unless I have another Auxiliary unit?

Hello,

If a drilled legionaries unit elects not to close up when within 8" of enemy and it's charged in the next turn, will it receive a Close Order bonus?

This option is only available to enable the Roman unit to charge. So in a turn in which it does not charge, it is restricted as per the normal rules and thus the queried situation cannot occur.

Ok, effectively, read like this, the queried situation cannot occur.

Thanks.
