Barding

Postby Xarepunk » Mon Dec 18, 2017 3:46 pm

There seems to be some ambiguous wording concerning barding and clarification would be nice.

The general distinction between cloth-, half- and full-barding is clear. But in some Medieval lists (Swiss, Italians, Late HRE, Late French, Burgundy,...) it only says that knights have "barding", sometimes for +1 point. Is this half- or full barding?

Most confusing is the Swiss entry for (Lorraine) knights: they automatically have "metal barding" and can upgrade to "full metal barding" at +4 points.

If an entry just says "barding" than it means full barding. I will have a look at the Swiss list when I have a copy to hand.

For the knights in the Swiss list, delete the last sentence about barding at +4, it is already in the profile as per the description. I will add to the errata.
