Scoring is an interesting thing. We decided to use VPs this time to see how it went, rather than the 32-0 system used in a lot of events. Both methods reward big wins where one player is forced to breakpoint, and this favours armies which tend to decisive outcomes (either win or lose, its a big margin-such as Sassanids, where Robin for example experienced both of these). I think I will be trying a simple 3 pts for win, 1 pt for draw next time, using the VPs as a tie breaker-so good solid armies like the pike ones will have a more equal chance and we won't be skewing the army selection process (well for those who actually pick one for tournament reasons anyway-the rest of us will keep bringing armies we just happen to like!)
