Reading - One Day Event

Postby Wayne Richards » Sat Jun 16, 2018 8:46 pm

Folks - just a reminder that there will be Swordpoint tables/gaming at the Reading Wargames club open day on Sunday 8th July. All welcome. Not a competition so an ideal opportunity to try out the rules or a different army. Loan armies will be available is booked in advance. Free parking, free tea/coffee, catering on site etc.
Cheers W.

Hi Andrew - you can bring along any army you like, there is no set period. Cheers W.

Hi David - I suggest your bring 1,000pts (any period), unless you have arrange otherwise with another player beforehand - for example, I have agreed to play Mike at 1,500pts so he can test his list for Pillage. Cheers W.

Wayne, thank you for organising the day. It was good fun to play against other people, and I was able to play test my Pillage list.

Thanks Wayne. I agree with Mike. I had three fun games including a new opponent, two new opposing armies and using an army I'd not used before.

Many thanks to all who turned up to play, hope you all found it enjoyable/useful. I've popped a few snaps of the games on the facebook pages.
If there is sufficient interest then I will look at organising another one for the Autumn/Winter. Cheers W.
