Andover Hampshire event

Postby Andyjp » Fri May 19, 2017 3:02 am

Anyone interested in an event in Andover, Hampshire.
Area has pubs and curry houses and accommodation for anyone wishing to overnight.

I'm thinking of one or two days in July or October :?:
Could be a competitive event if people want it to be :?:
The idea is to run an event and see how you guys like it and to raise money for the local scouts group ( yes my Lad goes to this group). With the possibility of making it and annual event or even bi annual.

What do you guys think, feedback please.
Cheers
Andy

I am up for it, given we have Pillage in mid August probably best to avoid late July and also with Reading Warfare in Nov probably best to avoid late October.

Also Derby at start of October. July could be a good warm up/practise for Pillage ?

If we use it as a practise for Pillage it will need to be Dark Ages.

I like the sound of this, but for me as non-competitive (still learning!). My parents live in Andover so accommodation is sorted :-)

Yes please Andy.
Don't mind either day or both. Is anyone likely to travel a long distance? If so they might prefer two days.
Don't mind competitive or not. As it is still the first year for the game-system perhaps the latter would be better. Maybe tempt the Bournemouth group.
Dark-age pre-Pillage or classical pre-Reading - or just bring what you like.

I will try to make it but it will depend on the final date selection.
