Thanks to all I played:

Andy C and his Welsh - next time I will remember not to let you get on my flank. Also I will learn not to roll 4 hits on 13 dice when you are supposed to be hitting on 3's

Bob and his Ostrogoths - not a great match up for and I remembered not to let you get on my flank. Also my dice worked better.

Andy and his Vikings - nip and tuck until I managed to turn your flank

Mike and his late Saxons - lucky to get in the charge and then made more saves on a 6 than I should have!

Paul and his Anglo Danes - again lucky to get the charge, but couldn't hit for toffee. Fortunate to pull it out of the hat with the luckiest break of an army you can imagine.

Thanks to Martin and Andy for running the event and the very generous prizes.

Huge thanks to Gripping Beast for organising and supporting the event. Also, thanks to Andy for organising the venue.

I had 5 enjoyable games against different armies, each presenting a different challenge. The rules stood up well under the heat of competition.
Great to see such a mix of armies on display.

Looking forward to the next event.
Cheers W.
