;) Well spotted Bob! The book contains revised and extended armies for the wars of Alexander and his Successors down to the arrival of the Romans (who are dealt with in a later volume). There are some additional period rules, such as a wedge rule for cavalry. There are plenty of scenarios, some for major engagements and some for other actions such as storming hill forts, ambushing Galatians and so on. I will put up more detail soon.

I picked this up from GB at Salute. Great book Martin!

It contains some new lists, plus some really interesting tailored lists (such as the Persian list for Guagamela).

Finally, there’s a number of great scenarios.

Absolutely worth every penny for anyone who likes the Alexandrian period!!

I have a great interest in this time period. This book caught my interest in Swordpoint. I have thought about buying the rules for awhile. This supplement gave me the push to buy the rules. I agree the supplement is great work. Interesting scenarios and army lists for the period.

Glad you like it! We're trying not to stick to one area of history with these books so the next one up will cover the campaigns of Genghis Khan. The Wars of the Roses, 100 Years War and Early Rome are also in development with others at planning stage.

The book is great, in a WAB supplement sense. Looks, great, good reading, well chosen scenarios recreating famous battles. Got my copy today and am very excited. As the before mentioned system supplements worked, it makes you want playing all of those armies. Well done!

Thanks to all involved creating this supplement.
