Momentum Tokens

Postby David M » Sat Jan 28, 2017 6:14 pm

Would it be easer to have the token, with 0 1 2 0r 3 printed on the obverse side? Instead of hiding the number of tokens we are about to put play.
Openly put one token down, dice then turn the token over to display how many we have played, none - 3. It would save all the messing about hiding the tokens we are about to play.

For battle, we used a dice, 1 to 3 momentum and 4+ means 0. Easier to manage than hidding token.

I use tokens with 0,1,2 and 3 - I find that way I always remember to add tokens before combat.

Hi.
I use small playing cards.
Ace, 2, 3 and joker or picture card for zero.
It works extremely well.

Players can of course use what they like. The reason we went for individual tokens is that it removes the temptation to pick up a "2" out of the pool when you have been awarded a "1" and so on. You do need to track tokens awarded as well as tokens played.

I use individual tokens when being awarded, and I have 01,2, & 3 to lay face down next to each combat so I do not forget - of course teh total used cannot exceed whats in my pool - this way I do not forget to use tokens each combat. Even started doing teh same for initiative roll.
