Late Romans

This is the army we produced for Lord S to use (with mixed results) at the Pompey pillage. It is a mix of Gripping Beast plastics and metals. Th

e army looks pretty large because it totals 1500 points, the requirement for the Pillage (a great event!)

A fine looking army, Martin! Any additional pics, close-ups, etc. that you can share?

Quite cavalry heavy for a Late Roman army. What are we to deduce from that, I wonder ?

Only that Lord S likes cavalry and doesn't really know what to do with infantry. The concept of combined arms assaults is utterly beyond him, his main tactic being "Chaarrge!" Though he has since added a large unit of foot bow to the force, having been stung by them-his motto is get some, rather than work out how to beat them.......
