Saxons v Vikings

Postby Keith T » Fri Jan 13, 2017 7:38 am

Played against James Morris, his Saxons against my Vikings.

A great big crunch in the middle of the table with all his infantry hitting all mine except my Bondi archers who were covering my flanks.

On my right a unit of Bondi archers faced off against his mounted Theigns who charged them twice and failed to do any damage.

The fight in the centre was a draw , each of us losing nobles but otherwise little movement.

Then a good round for the Saxons my flank units being only able to divide the score by two were pushed back, the centre 4 units standing still .

In the next round a big change in fortune, the Viking winning in the Centre and breaking his flank units and pushing back in the centre, a win for the Vikings :D

This was James's first game of Swordpoint and it went down well, a good fun game with a historical feel.

Photos - or it didn't happen! :-)
So who decided that a 1 was bad and a 6 good anyway?
