Allies troops

Postby Andyjp » Tue Mar 07, 2017 12:03 am

If I want to take allies from another list are there any restrictions on what I can take, do I have to stick to the percentages in the Allied army list?

My understanding is that the only restrictions are that you can only use the troops native to the Allied list - ie not the allies of the allies.
Likewise you are restricted by any maximums that apply ie if an allied unit is listed as 0-1, then you can't take 2.

That was my take on it to, but I thought I'd check.
Can the allies use the army general for rallying and tests? Just like the rest of the army?

Yep, they act as a normal part of the army in every way.

Do Mercenaries likewise act as a normal part of an Army ?
So both are just divisions in the Army List to limit selections....Neil

Mercenaries are normally a standard part of your army.

There is the odd list where you also have a mercenary commander that can only interact with the mercenary troops, but the list will identify those situations.
