Mixed order units

Postby Bitesyurr » Sun Nov 04, 2018 11:03 am

I have a mixed order unit or 4 men at arms and 8 archers. It is shooting, therefore the archers are deemd to be at the front. If it is being shot at the archer defense value is used. Does this mean that all the casulaties caused are taken from the archer bases, or do the losses alternate between the archers and the Men at Arms?

For shooting, alternate the bases removed. For melee, remove the bases that are in contact. Cheers W.

The rules says that Mixed Order units use the defence value of the majority base type in the unit when the target of shooting. In the above example that would be the archers defence. However whose defence would be used if the unit had equal numbers of Mena at Arms and archers?
