Folks-its nearly time to submit lists (how time flies) please note that I have decided not to accept lists including skirmish units of less than 4 bases for this event.

Hi,

Just thought I'd ask.

Is the number of participants in the DA event full up as of now?

I ask as I've just (finally!) bought Swordpoint and would possibly be into attending. With Franks or Sassanians. Depends on which get's finished first!

As an added incentive,I haven't played a game yet so I'll be easy meat

Coming to think of it I was always quite easy meat when playing WAB too!! I'm sure there are many on this forum that can attest to that fact

Darrell.

Right, let me check on transport Martin and I'll get back to you ASAP.

I'll be very easy meat, not that I mind, I just don't want to take anything away from the other players who have a bit more experience.

Martin,

I'm afraid that it's going to be a no as it's a six hour train journey with changes both ways.

I can't drive at present so i'm, well, stuck :(

What are the chances of there being a SP tournament more central in the UK?

Depends if someone wants to organise one. I assume you mean Nottingham?

I am running an event in South Birmingham 12-14 June. Details to follow, but it will be a different sort of event where you will be using a variety of armies over the weekend. It will be based around a plot to take over the British Isles by combined Viking, Norman(French), and Celtic types whilst Saxons Eorls and Anglo Danes try to enlarge their own territories and to see who will be the first king of England!

Just got to finish writing a supplement and the rules pack!

Hello Bob,

you mentioned your event at Warfare. I checked my diary and I have a holiday/ business trip booked during June. I hope the event is successful.
cheers, Dennis

Hi Denis, thanks for letting me know, but I have had to cancel the event after uncertainty about the availability of the venue. maybe sometime in the future. Bob
