New shoot rules & Elephant

Postby lero » Wed Nov 06, 2019 12:13 am

Hello,
Is an Elephant behind skirmishers considered as "partially blocked" for shooters against him ?

If an elephant is behind its own skirmishers the skirmishers will be the priority target. If archers are shooting at an elephant from behind their own skirmishers, the elephant is an obscured target.

I have in mind the case where the Elephant is at charge range and its skirmishers could not charge, as against a formed archers unit. So the shooting priority is on the Elephant and my question remains....
By the way, I found all the new shooting and movement rules excellent ! Game is obviously better !

Thanks for your comments! If the skirmish unit has the Escort rule, then the elephant is the priority target, otherwise it is not. Either way, it still counts as an obscured target.
