Re: New supplement?

No there are no major changes in the second edition, mainly tightening of rules and dealing with some small issues that have arisen. We are just awaiting a couple of photos and a decision on the cover before going to print.

Re: ARMY LIST ISSUES

Good spot! Sorry about that, the Spara rule did not make it across from the Swordpoint rulebook for some reason. This is the rule: "Some troops are equipped with the Spara, a very large cane wicker shield that was propped up in front of the unit for protection, Spara count as large shields and give ...

Re: Swindon Medieval Event 2021

Yes assuming we are able to put the event on, it will be 1250 points. It will also be to second edition rules. Early warning-those of you with troops who are "riding horses/camels" may want to paint the mounted versions of your units.......

Re: New supplement?

Nikephorous, I appreciate that you are disappointed by the failure of a supplement in which you have a particular interest to appear. This is understandable and I am very sorry that it has happened. This is complete but not all of the scenarios have been thoroughly play tested yet, so it will be a while. Pos...

Re: Burgundian Ordnance Archers & Pike Question

Yes that is correct, though the archers won't get the bonus shooting dice as all the shooting is indirect (overhead)

As the maker of the video will be external to GB staff, it can't happen yet.

Re: A bunch of combat situations

1) Assume you want the unit to move so that it is in front of its friends. In game terms you incline the unit and move straight to that point, so the unit appears to move through its friends, but in reality it would wheel round their front corner-so it can get to its destination without passing over...

Re: A bunch of combat situations

1) Think of the unit as a group of files of men, each man follows the man in front. So in reality the unit will The appear to move through its friends. The move is only illegal if the final position cannot be reached WITHOUT passing through the friends. 2) All correct. A and the unit next to it will...
