If you mean Shock Cavalry rule 4, then that is correct.

They don't get it. Giving them shock simulates the probable wavering of the infantry as they approach, these ones won't be worried as their own chariots are there to protect them.

No the bonus dice do not go to chariots or elephants.

I would suggest as an experiment try increasing the heavy chariot move to 16". That will improve the dynamic between the two types of chariot without altering their interaction with other troop types. Out of period, chariots have a 25% points penalty.

No. We did experiment during lockdown with possibly adapting Milites Mundi for the pike and shot period, and we may pick this up again at some point, but I'm not sure about Swordpoint as I cannot see how to make pike and shot regiments work correctly at present.

Any difficult ground should be defined by agreement between the players before the game starts.
