A huge thank you to everyone for participating and extra thanks to Martin for umpiring.
I apologize if I gave an incorrect ruling on any situation, even after hundreds of games I still get things wrong.
Please send me any feedback about the event etc - let me know if there's anything you weren't happy with or suggestions for how we can improve the event - don't worry about upsetting me - just give me your constructive feedback.
Regarding next year - the venue will be Farnborough Conference Centre and the period will be medieval including the new HYW supplement
I have enquired about the possibility of using 8ft tables and have been provisionally told that this would be ok but there would be an additional cost per ticket. (ie we could have 4 x 6 tables or 3 x 8 tables for the same price. So the first would be divided by 8 players, the later by 6 players). I will consult with you all nearer the date once I have more details.
PLEASE, PLEASE continue to show your support for the events. Swindon in February (Classical), Brticon in August (Dark Age).
I will also be holding some one day events next year at the club in Sindlesham on a Sunday. These will be themed events rather than "competitions" with the emphasis being on fun games rather than smashing face. The events may be used to playtest future supplement scenarios etc.
