Hey Martin,
I have a question dealing with Terror Test in the initial phase (MM).
The situation:
Turn 3 during remaining moves, 2 units of Punic cavalry move 4 inches away from 2 enemy Cavalry units. Unit of Punic Elephants move 4 inches away from one unit of the enemy Cavalry unit. Unfortunately, also within 4 inches of one of the friendly units.
During turn 4 initial phase the enemy Cavalry unit 4 inches from the Elephants fails its terror test, so does the Friendly unit.
Question 1: When do they move? (flee). According to page 12 Section 1: Cohesion and Terror "Should they fail their test; they will move in the
compulsory movement part of the movement phase".
Page 33 under Terror, "a unit that fails it's terror test will flee immediately, exactly as it failed it's break test in hand to hand.
Question 2: If unit 2 is 2 inches away from unit 1 (that was in good order at the start of the phase), but took and failed a terror test during step one
of the phase, does that unit 2 now take a cohesion test. And so on down the line if more units fail?
Question 3: If the original failing unit flees as on page 33, do all friendly units within 6 inches take an immediate cohesion test as in hand-to-hand
combat break.
Bonus question: If any failing unit including the original unit fail and flees within 2" or 6" of the elephant unit causing terror test, does that
elephant now take a cohesion test?
Thanks,
